About One Voice
The One Voice Institute of Elemental Ethics and Education has always been an
organization with a mission: to facilitate positive, critical change in educational
processes and policies. Starting in 2014, it will lay the groundwork for a school
model designed by the true experts in education, educators themselves, to close
the gap on learning for children of all socioeconomic levels.
The One Voice Institute of Elemental Ethics and Education was founded in 2008. Founding
members of the board include individual devotees of positive change in education from
different walks of life and areas of expertise, educators K-16, teachers both traditional and
non-traditional, environmental studies, training and the Arts. There is no corporate sponsor
of the organization, or any particular university or college sponsor or affiliation. Rather it was
started and self-funded by a small group of intentional people who believe that the answers
to the nagging questions about today's educational status quo are best answered by the
real experts, meaning the educators themselves, as opposed to politicians or those who
finance them. The organization is not associated with any particular faith or political party or
single viewpoint; what the organization is, in effect is a megaphone for the voices of
educators. The Board of the One Voice Institute of Elemental Ethics and Education is
committed to the mission of the organization and to the achievement of its goals. By the end
of 2013, over 75,000 intentional educators in 61 countries have joined the One Voice
audience, more every day.
The first goal of One Voice has always been to support and amplify the voices of educators,
to gather useful information gleaned from their varied experience, and to organize and
publish their suggested resolutions to problems plaguing academic systems.
Secondly, the organization has been dedicated to the publication and dissemination of
practical solutions and steps authored by the experts into the hands of the political,
government, and business leaders to educate those that will invariably influence the future
of learning in the United States and throughout the world.
Finally, The One Voice Institute of Elemental Ethics and Education has been dedicated to
providing opportunities for educators around the world to interact with one another in
person or via available technology, to bond with one another for the greater good, and to
assist and support each other in whatever way they can or wish, and as often as possible.
